"Floriscount", by "Florencio" - "Donnerhall" - "Walldorf" - "Tin Rocco" - "Vollkorn xx", dark chestnut born 2005, in the same style like his grandfather "Donnerhall". He was the winner of the dressage index by a mile at his 70 day performance test at Schlickau 2008 (147,49 points!) and was second over all.
"Floriscount", focus on dressage breeding, because nobility oblige! He filled the judges, test riders and audience with enthusiasm with his presence, his fantastic gaits and rideability. Therefore he received two times a 10,0 from both testriders! For the canter the judges again gave the highest score available: 10,0!, for his great trot a 9 and his walk was still a 8,38, everything far over average. This highly modern and long legged stallion connects a wonderful shape with lots of presence, high rideability and super character.
"Floriscount's" dam Elitemare "Arkona" by "Donnerhall" now seems to create a new stallion line. From six colts so far three are licensed until today! Beside him, there is the former premium stallion at Münster/Westf. "Sandakan" by "Sandro Hit", who already produced outstanding offsprings at the Swedish Main Stud "Flyinge" and in 2009 the fullbrother "Floriscount II" became licensed and received the premium award at the Mecklenburg stallion days at Redefin.
"Floriscount" was one of the most popular young stallions in his first breeding season 2009 for Hannover and Oldenburg right from the beginning. He developed excellent and becomes more and more maxculine. In spite of just very few show starts he won young dressage horse classes by a mile in 2009.
In 2010 he started with a incredible good show at the Celle State Stud show at Verden and at the Böckmann stallion show at Vechta. His first foals on the ground caused lots of very positive rumour and many breeders tried to purchase "their" Floriscount right away. Then we had a very successful "open house day" on April 24th 2010 where we showed more than 25 from his first foals to more than 1.800 visitors and interested breeders. The judges Uwe Heckmann, Hans heinrich Brüning and Jens Meyer were impressed by the quality and type of his offsprings and selected four foals right away for the Oldenburg and Hannoverian Elite auctions. You can see some pictures on the left!
The highest priced foal at the Vechta Elite foal auction in June 2010 was by Floriscount - Dormello for 25.000 Euro, sold to Totilas rider Matthias Rath and Mrs. Linssenhoff. Auction foals and show winners all over the country made him more famous and so he had the second biggest crop of foals in the Verden Elite auction in August.
While carefully and slowly trained he had a few very good placings in the five year old shows and qualified finally for the "Bundeschampionate at Warendorf" in 2010. Because of his incredible breeding season we did not go to the final in September and continued his training during the winter here at home at Gut Fuechtel.
"Floriscount" was in a first time, but very successful, cooperation managed through the wellknown "Böckmann stud" at Lastrup and through the "Lower Saxony State Stud" at Celle since 2009. This "fertile cooperation" went forward in 2010 and of course we continued this with chilled and frozen semen in the following years as the breeders all over the world really accepted him so good and his offsprings went on to be successful and typical Floriscount like! In the US Judy Yancey from "Yancey Farms" distributes his semen, in Australia he had some beautiful foals on the ground and especially in the UK he became very popular.
In 2011 he was so occupied in breeding that we only showed him a few times. He right away qualified again for the German Bundeschampionate at Warendorf with more than 82 % and had several top rankings in the six year old FEI classes.
2012 everyone expected him to start in the S- class (PSG) as he was obviously really ready for it. But because his rider M. Gribbe suddenly left the Böckmann stud we changed the plan. I kept him in training again myself and at the end of the year Olympian and international Grand Prix trainer Jürgen Koschel and his son Christoph took over the training. After breeding season and London Olympian Games he went to their stable at Hagen. Both are convinced of his great character, his rideability and top quality for a future Grand Prix star. My dream is to let him show later with our daughter Patricia! We'll see...
His first offsprings showed for the stallion licensing at Verden in 2012. It was a sensation as after seeing more than 550 young stallions Floriscount had the biggest crop of offsprings selected (6!) for the final licensing at Verden end of October from all stallions. This was really a surprice for an Oldenburg stallion in Hannover!
At the end he had right away three licensed sons and one "premium" stallion and therefore he was right away the most successful stallion at Verden licensing 2012! A great honour for us !
He will be again on stud in 2013 at Böckmann and Celle but only for a limited period as we really want to focus now on his sport career. It is too difficult to do both in this intensity and so we decided to stable him on stud from April 1st to June 10th only for fresh semen. Of course frozen semen is available all over the year.
We'll keep you updated about his progress!! You are warmly welcome to visit us! "Let you inspire yourself by Floriscount's children" and feel free to conatct me for further questions.
