Clemens von Merveldt (born 1961) has a degree in agricultural engineering and a "master" in horsemanship. Along with managing and organizing the whole operation, he also looks after the apprentices, shows horses and markets young dressage horses.
Andrea von Merveldt (born 1962) has a degree in business administration and was a successful rider in eventing all the way up to the German Championships for juniors. Along with bookkeeping and housekeeping, she is also active in the saddle and responsible for training young horses and riders.
Patricia von Merveldt (born 1990): She was very successful as a junior rider and finished her studies in economics in Münster Wesfalia. She trains and shows Floriscount since 2017 and presents our young dressage prospects on shows if possible!
Actually we are looking for a stable manager! You take care of all horses, the food management and keep your eyes on our broodmares and young horses. Especially you are is responsible for stable care, organisation and veterinary management (worming, vaccination etc) as well as the insemination of our broodmares. Sophia Sehl is also approved as a professional rider (German Bereiter FN or Pferdewirt Schwerpunkt Reitausbildung). She is born in France were she was approved and has a wirde job experience on young horses. In my stable Gut Füchtel she is responsible for training and showing of our young riding and dressage horses.
We are always looking for students who have some experience in riding young dressage horses. Dennis Strey is our helpful hand all over the farm. He bring in straw and cleans the stables, feeds horses, takes care of the whole area to be clean and manages to repair things if necessary.
Markus Torbecke has a degree in agriculture [Landwirtschaftsmeister] and is responsible for the whole farming operation since more than 15 year now as well as for all machines to keep on working.
Our farm veterinarian is Dr. Güldner from Wildeshausen, he takes care of our horses since many years. We also cooperate closely with well-known clinics and specialized veterinarians in the region like the Genn Horse Clinic at Muehlen or the Lüsche Horse Clinic at Essen/Ol.
