New stallion from Gut Füchtel: "Füchtels Exupéry"by Escamllo

We are grateful to present another young licensed and performance tested stallion: "Füchtels Exupéry" by Escamillo and our proven Elite and State Premium mare "Daytona" by Donnerschwee - Wolkentanz - Don Gregory - World Cup 1. He descends one of our most proven broodmares that produced already some outstanding successful horses up to GP. 

"Exupéry" is a real "sunday" child as he was born in 2019 on a sunny sunday afternoon at four o clock pm right in front of our café! After two full years on pasture he was presented as a three year old in June 2022 to the Oldenburg licensing commission and was right away accepeted as "licensed" . Then we carefully trained him up to autumn  for his 50-day performance test in Adelheidsdorf near Celle. He finished with great scores and an average of 8,21 over all. At the end he received the approval from the Hanoverian commission too.

We are now very happy to announce that he will be available on stud from Martin Determann's new stallion stud farm in Holtrup. New in our Guesthouse Gut Welpe: Apartment No. 6 "Alte Mühle"

Something really special we can offer to our guests since January 2022 ! Near to our Guesthouse Gut Welpe we can recommend a newly renovated apartment named "Alte Mühle"(Old Mill). In 2021 we have restored the former water mill directly in front of the Welpe mill pond next door to our Guesthouse Gut Welpe. 

This old house was build in 1899 by the canon of Corvey, Ludwig von Elmendorff and used as a bakery and as a sawmill. It is under monument protection like many of our historic sides at Gut Füchtel and Welpe. Since mid of the 1970th there was some living space and during the last decade we used it as shared apartments for students.

Still the old mill creek passes directly through the cellar ! Now we have renovated this special gem and can recommend a small, exclusive and cosy apartment on three floors. Rustic and comfortable with special details it offers a kitchenette on the ground floor, a lovely living space on the first floor and a sleeping space with bathroom on the second floor. It is a really special living experience on three floors, in the summer you can enjoy the special mood of this historic place at the terace in front of the door

After a very difficult year we are expecting this new year 2021 with great hopes. We all hope that we can soon meet one another again. Two full siblings by Grey Flanell and our Elite mare Daytona by Donnerschwee at the PSI auction!

Our Elite mare "Daytona" by Donnerschwee - Wolkentanz 2 - Don Gregory looks already very special! All her foals were nice, but they really start to show all their talents after a while under saddle. Two of her offsprings are successful at advanced levels.

Now she has two full sibblings at the wordwide most famous "PSI Auction" held in Ankum by Paul Schockemöhle and Ulli Kasselmann.

"Gremlin" is a five year old gelding by Grey Flanell and Daytona. He was selected as a 2,5 year old stallion for the Oldenburg licensing, but did not pass through to be licensed at the end. So we gelded him, he got another year on pasture and we showed him fist time in 2019 in dressage horse classes. In late November Bianca Kasselmann discovered him at our stable , he wnet to Hagen and qualified two times for the German Bundeschampionate in 2020.

His younger sister "Great Story" was born here in 2016, she made her mare perrformasnce test in 2019, received the Oldenburg "Premium" award and in June she went back on pasture. During the winter we started her again under saddle before Francoise Kasselmann saw her in January and purchased her too. 

Both horses are extremely talented for collected work, show great rideability and a superb willingness to work under saddle. We are really proud to see that our breeding program shows this success and we wish all the best to the new owners of these super stars for the dressage ring in the future! 

More offsprings from Daytona by "Top Gear", by "Morricone", and two times by "Escamillo" are growing up here in the stables. She is now 17 years old and we are expecting her next foal by "Filou" (by For Romance-Sir Donnerhall) from the Pape stud in Mai 2021 ! 

Foal season continues with some top offsprings !

April , Mai, June is our main foaling season and yes, we got a couple of new interesting foals so far: five colts and six fillies. Here are the colts: 

there is an outstanding chestnut colt by "Blue Hors Zackerey" and our Elite mare "Ajoulie" by Showstar - Donnerhall - Walldorf who is sister to our stallion Floriscount! Exceptional type with top gaits so we will try to do this combination once more! 

Then we have another black colt by champion sire "So Unique" and our wonderful black beauty and Brilliant ring mare from Rastede "Wellfare" by For Romance - Stedinger - De Niro, who is half sister to our licensed stallin Rey du Sol and from the famous "Weissena" line. A top moving prospect and the first foal of "Wellfare" by ET, who expects a Danciero foal herself soon! 

Next colt is an absolutely beauty by "Fürstenball" and Elite mother "Facette Royal" by Rubin Royal - Freiherr -Traumdeuter/Trak. This long legged bay colt looks just amazing with a typical Fürstenball outfit and you can see his abilities already very clearly! 

Another beautiful black colt by Performance test winner "Dancier Gold" and our Elite mare "Highness" by Roadster - Sandro Hit - Titus - Guter Gast xx is born four days ago. This is a brother to High Heels amd from ne of our best damlines. A black heart melting charmeur with a white blaze like grandfather Dancier! 

The youngest one is born two days ago by Vice German Champion "Bon Courage" and our Brilliant ring mare "White Fleur" by Floriscount - Donnerschwee - Titus (see picture above), who herself is sister to the licensed stallion "Statesman OLD", who is successful up to GP in the meantime. Also damline of Weihegold and many other top horses. A leggy and impressiv young colt that will for sure move incredible soon.
